Beauty - In the Red

Beauty Products – looking and feeing good are two factors which guarantee you in believing in your own beauty. Sadly some women give up due to being over weight or because their hair is straggly or just in general they feel ugly. Have you not heard the story “There once was an ugly duckling”, well ladies, a beautiful swan you can be?

Beauty products are there to beautify, however if make up is applied to generously it can have you looking like Coco the clown, and we don’t want that now do we girls.
If cosmetics are used as suggested, and I suggest as little as possible, then you allow your inner beauty to shine from underneath your face foundation or lip coating.
If you choose the wrong shade of eye shadow, lip gloss or foundation for your skin type it will result in disaster. Skin types have to be determined before choosing cosmetics ; this goes for the hair also. Style and colouring is important for a woman’s image to be a thing of beauty.

Redhead advice, think Nicole Kidman and red ain’t so bad.

To much sun exposure is not good for redheads, both from a beauty and from a health view. Redheads freckle more. Freckles are a sign of beauty, while a sprinkling of freckles can be attractive; over exposure to the suns harmful UV rays can cause surplus freckles to appear and other blemishes, sun spots and premature wrinkles. Sun protection is important whether you are a red head or of another colouring. Protect your skin from the sun by using moisturizers and foundation containing SPF 15.

Remember, the purpose of beauty products like foundation, is not to change your skin tone. Rather, it is to even out the skin tone you already have. Select a foundation nearest to your skin tone and type (sheer foundation) for positive results. Think natural when blending and you are onto a winner. Avoid red/pink-based foundations; opt for a more yellowy peach or coral. Brush a little bronzer in the T-area to enhance to the dish. Try different shades of brown and peaches on the eyes, combine shades for a smoky or defined eye look.

Use a lighter colour on the brow bone to open up the eyes, stay clear of blues and pinks.
To add definition to the eye area choose a light or dark brown or brownish-black eyeliner pencil and apply it with a light hand to make your eyes stand out more. Brown mascara is favoured over black.
Lipstick /blushers should come from neutral natural colour palettes, experiment with colour to find what works best for you.The ideal way to show off beauty is to act on the best features and if this be the hair then so be it. Henna shampoo is popular because it brings out the natural red highlights. Did you know that beet or cranberry juice helps boost red highlights? Caring for the hair is a vital part of any female beauty regime. To add extra shine to red hair and rid or prevent build-up from hair products, add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to the water on rinsing.

Has anyone ever seen a red swan, well maybe not because redheads tend to shy away and live their life like that of a duckling? Hey, life is for living now go and bring some colour back into your life and go share your beauty with the world.
